Wordware.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit
cards.
Is it safe to use my credit
card?
Yes. We've made every effort to make Wordware.com a safe,
secure shopping experience. All orders pages are loaded into
your browser using SSL, or Secure Sockets Layer. This allows
your credit card information to be furnished via the World
Wide Web safely and securely. For more details, please read
our policy on security and privacy.
Wordware.com does not charge your credit card until we ship
your order. We confirm the price of a book at the time your
order ships.
Can you ship my order
overseas?
Yes. Wordware.com does ship to countries outside the U.S. The cost
depends on your location, the number of items you order, and the
shipping method you choose. You will be contacted if the shipping
price is different from what our shopping cart quoted.
Can I track my shipment?
Yes. Wordware.com ships via United Parcel Service for most of its
orders. When an order is shipped, you will be automatically notified
via e-mail. This e-mail will include a number of important details,
including your order number, shipping address, shipping method,
items shipped, and order amount, among other information. If you
have a question regarding an order, please call or email us at

U.S., use 972-423-0090).
What is your return policy?
You may return any book in its original condition
within 7 days of receiving it for a full refund. For books that
include media such as CD-ROMs, the book can only be returned if the
seal on the media enclosure is not broken. We cannot accept
returns if you have broken the media seal for a book.
Wordware.com will refund shipping costs only if the return is a
result of our error. Shipping for any other returns is at your
expense.
What about defective media in
a book
Occasionally the media included in a book such as a CD-ROM may be
defective. In the rare case that a disk included in a book is
defective, please contact us (customerservice@wordware.com)
with the book title, ISBN, purchase date, and purchase location so
that we can replace it.
What is your policy on
incorrectly priced items?
We make every effort to accurately display prices in Wordware.com.
Sometimes, however, mistakes do happen and an item may be mispriced.
We try to avoid mistakes by verifying prices of each item ordered as
part of our shipping procedure. If an item's correct price is lower
than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and ship you the
book. If a book's correct price is higher than our stated price, we
will contact you for further instructions before shipping.
Can I see more information
about the book I'm interested in?
Information about the titles carried in
Wordware.com is displayed on the detail page for that book.
We generally show a picture of the book along with the ISBN, title,
author, edition, publisher, list price, and sale price. In certain
situations, we sometimes we show a title's abstract, back cover
text, table of contents, and even provide a sample chapter (if
available).
What about book availability?
Books appearing in Wordware.com are usually in stock and available
for shipping. In the event that a title is temporarily out of stock,
we make every effort to note this on our site. If you order a title
that is shown as in stock you will be notified by e-mail if any
items you order turn out to be temporarily unavailable.
